Chalkmaster
I met Dave walking down Queen Street West a couple weeks ago. He's an accomplished street artist who has achieved considerable fame on Toronto streets. His website is www.chalkmaster.com.
Tommorow may be my last post for a long time =(... I will be in Berlin for the next three weeks and when I come back it'll be time for school and I prolly won't have my D70 with me for a while.
UPDATE: Sorry I wasn't able to deliver as promised yesterday, my internet was down the whole day and still is. I'm at a friends house now =( Anyways, I guess I'll try to post in Berlin! Thanks for all the well-wishes!

His artwork is avery high standard.
ian: he's being doing street art for 10 years
jenn: thanks, that would be an interesting picture to jump into...
Have a safe trip, I hope you can take lots of pictures in Berlin, and we look forward to having you back!
come on, you're going to berlin for three weeks, you're going to be taking about a trillion pictures... you're telling me you will be so absorbed with school you won't be able to trickle a few shots up for your readers?
I've actually found my photoblog to be a very pleasant way to deal with an otherwise totally overwhelming number of photos... I started it three or four months ago to work through the 2200+ shots I took on vacation in Japan. I'm still chugging through them. But it's way more enjoyable to fix up one or two at a time and post them than to try and do all 2k at a sitting.
anyway, have a good time.
have a great time in berlin... (i'll be there for the weekend, too!)...
btw... i know, my comment link is quite a challenge. ;-) sorry for that. but do *you* have a link to your e-mail somewhere on your site? so, thanks very much for your feedback, jenny! i really appreciate it, especially coming from you. your blog is beautiful. i guess photography is a bit more than a hobby, it's more like a passion to me. and while i'm in no ways a pro, some of my shots have been published already. still, there's so much more to learn. and my good shot - bad shot ratio isn't really great, too. if i take 100 shots, only a handful turn out like i visualized them.
dave: i bought my D70 in June for the purpose of bringing it to Berlin, so i definately will. thanks for your advance welcome back!
monkey: i guess you're right...I don't think I could just go into hiatus. definately expect some photos.
Patrick: that is prolly the highest form of praise I've ever received from ne living thing lol. thanks. and i truly don't think you've got a problem since that handful turn out the way they do for you.
Wow, this is amazing! How long does it take him to finish something like this?
Have a wonderful time in Berlin!
Hey Jenny, have a nice trip to Berlin [pity you're not visiting me in Holland, but... well, you're close :) ] and I'm looking forward to your pictures.
lara: I'm not sure actually, I'd think within a day or two... and thanks I definately will!
Robert: Thanks, I will be stopping over in Amsterdam, for an hour. lol, I'll try to post while im in berlin.
I placed a link to this post, and have bookmarked your site; great stuff!
My name is Simon, my fiancee and I met Dave on the streets of Toronto aswell, he was going to see his daughter, drawing and saving up to get her a gift. We walked by the first time, in awe of his work, we had most of the day to kill, since it was just a wandering day. When we came out of a shop we walked by him again, stopped to read his wishlist. Well Dave, I'll keep my offer for being your personal Ninja open, but I'm glad I could at least give you a bite to eat. Take care of yourself.
